About Deep Solar Ghana
We design, install and look after solar systems for Ghanaian homes, businesses, schools and communities, so the power stays on when the grid does not.
Why we started
Deep Solar Ghana began in 2020 with a simple idea: dumsor should not decide when a family can keep food cold, when a shop can stay open or when a clinic can run its equipment. Ghana has strong sunshine all year. With the right panels, inverter and battery, that sunshine can carry a home or business through the day and the night.
What we do
- Off-grid and hybrid solar systems for homes and businesses, from a 1.5 kW starter system to 30 kW and larger custom designs. See packages and prices.
- Lithium battery storage sized for your night-time use, so lights, fans, fridges and, on bigger systems, ACs keep running after dark.
- Solar generators and portable power for shops, barbering salons and small spaces that need quiet, fuel-free backup.
- Maintenance and support after installation, with a 5-year system warranty. How warranty and support work.
- Community and rural electrification, bringing solar light and water to places the grid does not reach. See our projects.
Licensed by the Energy Commission of Ghana
Deep Solar holds the Energy Commission of Ghana's licence to install and maintain renewable energy (solar) systems, licence EC-ISM/12-24-260. That means our installations follow the Commission's technical standards, and the people on your roof are trained and accountable.
How we work
- Size it online. Our solar calculator uses the same design rules as our engineers and prices your system from our current list.
- Site visit. An engineer checks your roof, wiring and appliances and confirms the design. Book a visit.
- Installation. Our licensed team installs and tests everything with you.
- Support. You get a 5-year system warranty, maintenance visits and a team you can call.
Giving back
We donated and installed a 6 kW off-grid system at the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Sunshine Hostel for Children with Cancer at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, so care does not stop during power cuts. We have also taken solar to Avetome in the Volta Region and the Afram Plains, and taught renewable energy classes in schools.
